    Citrus pastel calico clown clutch

I bred a citrus pastel calico x clown. I ended up with a clown in the clutch so at this time, I think the father was het clown. Love a surprise like this. We will see next season since I will do the same pairing.

First up is a citrus pastel calico het clown female

Next is a citrus pastel whiteout het clown male

    Citrus pastel het clown male

A dark citrus pastel calico het clown male

    CLown female

    Clutch

Very Cool, is the clown female a virgin?

Could be sperm retention from last year. I had something similar happen this year to an Albino X Pied pairing. Results 3.0 Albino and 1.1 DH. Pied could be het albino so I am going to try again this year. I did pair the female albino to a male the year before so I am betting it was sperm retention.

I know!!!!! lol At first, I thought I had amazing odds but then after thinking, if he was a het, not even a pastel clown. Still a great clutch though and very happy. I'll be doing this breeding again next season for sure.

Congrats! I hatched out 1.1 calico het clowns a few weeks ago. I can't wait to see the visual. Can't believe you got a clown in the clutch! Very cool.

Hopefully my male proves out and I hit on a pastel calico clown. Gonna be hard to hit on a double but I'll try. Can you imagine adding spider after that? Ooooolala
