Need advice
Hello BP.net!!
This is my first post and my first breeding season, i have a few question regarding to my best eater female spider, her diet is Large pre killed rat every 2 weeks, she go off feed when she was 900 grams and it takes only 1 month. Last week i offer to my male burm collosal rat (365grams) and he refused to eat (he wants to breed) so i try to give it to my spider and she take it. Now she is 2000 grams after poof, my plan is to breed her in January 2013 but i think she wants to breed now she always stay in cooler side of her cage, bowl rapping and very active at nigth. Her tail is always in her water bowl and always pointing up. Before, she pea once or twice a week, now she pea every nigth. She is very strange now, but my problem is she is only 16 months old. Do i offer male now or wait till December to January. January is the coldest month here, Btw she is 4 and a half feet. Pls. I need your advide guys!! Thank you very much..

If she's 2000 g like you say then go for it. It's more about size and less about age. The worst that will happen is she won't produce.
