Where's my rat?
Where is my rat???

Oh, here he is, thanks momma!

What are you looking at?

Yeah, I ate it.
Thank goodness she decided 2 weeks was long enough of a strike. I knew she wouldn't be one to go long without eating, she likes her food too much!

Thank you guys! I don't know if her strike was because she thought she was going to breed this year, or if she was trying to tell me she wanted to go back to live ratties.

I have a male pastel that will do that. He will go on a 2 week strike every now and then and then just up and decide "oh I'm silly, yes I will take that. I'm hungry now. Thanks!"

2 week strike?? Is that all?? You're lucky. My Ella has fasted for up to 3 months. But your bee is gorgeous!! And I'm glad she ate!

Thank you! Yeah, two weeks. First time in a year and a half she skipped a single meal. I was honestly shocked when she snubbed a meal. Before she skipped two weeks she was 1294 grams. I have other picky ones, but not her. My male pastel has gone longer, right around 3 months as well

I would reiterate both points. a two week strike is hardly any strike at all. and that is one of the better bees I've seen in pictures. best of luck pairing her up.
