    Cool ball behavior

Since i first started creeping on these forums i saw you guys talking about how cool of pets ball pythons can be and the funny stuff they do. Ive only had little baby Gustav for a few days but hes beginning to develop a personality. Last night i came into my room for the first time in hours and laid down on my bed to watch a move on my laptop, about ten minutes into the movie i looked over at the tank to see Gustav's head popping out of one of his hides watching me. He did this for about 15 seconds then slowly slithered out and came to the front of the tank and watched me some more. After watching me for a couple minutes he proceeded to do his normal thing, he got some water, explored a bit, then went back into a hide. Now this morning i woke up and glanced over at the tank, no sign of him so i knew he was once again in a hide. I got out of bed opened my blinds, looked back at his tank, and there is his little head poking out looking at me again! This time he only did it for 5 seconds our so before retreating back into his hide. I just think the little things like this are cool to watch develop over time and im very excited to see what he does in the future!

Monty (our ball) has taken to us so much! When my youngest son says good night to him/her, s/he yawns! Every night! We have only had him/her for less than a month! They are so cool to have. Monty (to me) does not act like a normal ball either.... s/he LOVES to be held and interact with us.

Same with ours. He puts up a pretty good fight when its time to go back into his tank. also seems to get a little disgruntled after feeding when he gets "neglected" for a couple of days.
