Welcome!
Feel free to ask all the questions you want! What sort of help are you looking for? Can you describe your set up and what you're using to measure and regulate the heating sources?
And hiding is a perfectly normal behavior for a ball python. A happy ball is a hiding ball. That means you're doing something right. If he's out and about too much, it could mean that he's stressed out. So hiding is good.

i didnt have enough cash to buy top of the line stuff, but i got a humitity gauge and two 60 watt lights, (one day time one night time). He's chillin' in a 20 gal. fish tank at the moment. Humitity is between 20-45. I know thats pretty low, but I live in a suuppeerr dry climate and thats the best i can do at the moment. I spritz him everyday though about 4 times a day. I don't have any temp. gauges yet :/ I know thats bad but my room rarely gets below 70 degrees.
I just got him last sunday and before i put the hide in his box he was super active. As soon as i put the hide in their he just, well... hides. i'm worried about handling him because i dont want to stress him out to much but I looovvee hanging with him!
@Ball python 22, your right, it is getting to be an addiction, i can just see it

Hello and welcome to the site. I suggest that you read these 2 threads to get started:
http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...ius)-Caresheet
http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...t-Thermometers
You need to get thermometers ASAP you cannot guess what your cage temperatures. Don't buy thermometers/hygrometers at pet stores. They sell overpriced junk. The thread above covers what kind to get and where (they are cheaper than the junk sold at pet stores anyway)

Alright, thanks for the help I do wanna know if it's ok to take him out of the hide to handle him and what not or would that stress him out to much?

I wouldn't handle him until you have had him for at least a week and is eating.
Remember a hiding BP is a happy BP.

I wouldn't handle him until he's had at least 3 consecutive meals.
