Changes the snake?
Hello! I was just curious, those of you who breed your pet snakes, does breeding them change the way their temperament is? Any other thing that may or may not change?

The only girl I have that I have bred is just as lovely as before she laid eggs. She was a little irked when I stole her eggs but that the only time she ever showed any aggression. Unless you count toward rats. She likes to bite those. Lol.

No breeding experience yet but im pretty sure females can get more aggressive during the breeding season. Thats all ive heard. Ive seen numerous youtube videos though where breeders take the moms off the eggs and theyre fine. No hissing/striking at all. So it really probably depends on the snake. When i end up breeding i predict my cinny female will not let me get her eggs without a duel first lol.

Yeah, I won't be breeding until next year, so no personal experience. But I do believe my butter will be no fun to remove from eggs.

If nothing ever changed, there would be no butterflies.

I have two females that never fully went back to their peacefull selves. Idk whether its a crazy feeding response or just aggression but any time i open the tubs they spring to the front at me. I feed them quite often and the fact that they put all of their weight back on and then some leads me to believe theu are just mean now. Lol
But on the other side of the spectrum i have a female who is as sweet as ever after eggs
