Update to my collection and Feeding with Snake Bite

I wanted to show my whole collection which is pretty nice so far.

While feeding the Mojave Spider, I got to close and he got my hand. No big deal.

I am very proud of the collection so far, and all the snakes are doing very well.

    Enjoy

Great idea. I need to do a collection video in natural light. The colors are amazing and even the special just shines in the sun light. If you noticed, I only have one male and the rest are females. I plan to get more males next year for breeding in 2014 season to my females.

That is a freedom breeder rack that I got from Freedom Breeder. It currently has 10 Juvenile tubs and 9 Large CB70 tubs. I will need to expand it and add more racks next few years when I get more males and they start breeding.

I know that this rack is not cost effective for everyone's budget, but it has made a world of difference in the ease of keeping and caring for these animals. They eat readily and are thriving in these enclosures. I think I will do a video of my current setup with husbandry parameters in the future. That might be my next project.

    Regards,

Oh, wow. So lovely. I love that whole "no biggie" reaction to the bite!

And seeing all the different morphs got me looking into them, and wondering if Penny really is a normal or if she's something else. Gonna have to get pics of her after her vet trip to see what you guys think.

Thanks for all the great feedback. The bite was nothing. They look a lot worse than they are. I did have 3 nice puncture marks that I just had to wash out.

    Regards
