I've been to plenty of shows, but... Tinley = WOW

I spent five hours there today, then went back for the auction. I can't believe all of the animals there, they are amazing! Mike Wilbanks' booth was awesome, he has some awesome scaleless corns! The display was flawless, I may pick something up from him tomorrow. Of course NERD's was awesome too, good luck getting close enough to see anything though. Every time I went buy there were so many people that you couldn't really get in close enough to see anything. There were some gorgeous retics there, I wish I had room for one. I will be going back as soon as they open in the morning, I can't wait! Please share your experiences guys!

Nice to see you Clint, Mike, and Sheleen!

Ah man I gotta get to one of those big shows! I dont think we have anything like that out here in the PNW... There are 3 shows in the area each year that I know of but I dont think they are on that level.... Then again I have never been to a reptile expo. I can never seem to get to one.

Tinley Park will blow your mind! We went last year, and believe me when I tell you, you cannot see the entire show in one day.

Thousands upon thousands of snakes and lizards, hundreds of reptile people everywhere. You have to see it to understand, it's impossible to describe.

Here are some links to pictures I took last year, if you care to look.

These big shows like Tinley and Repticon are like nothing you've ever seen.

Re: I've been to plenty of shows, but... Tinley = WOW

I went to my first Repticon today and it was sub-par. I went to a herp society show two weeks ago and it was MUCH better. I think a lot of it had to do with the fact that Repticon Atlanta and NARBC was this weekend too. Even still, I was disappointed. Maybe I'll make it up to Tinley park one year. I just need to get there since I live in Texas.

Lol gale I'm probably going to have to do my pictures in groups. We have at least 200 and we didn't even get all the pictures we wanted. Back for round two today!
