    Shedding while off feed

I have a female around 1800 grams, she has been off feed for about 6 weeks. I did some cleaning this morning and noticed she has a nice perfect shed it her tub I just started pairing last week, is this pretty common for a shed to occur while off feed?
    Thanks for the help.

Sheds will occur whenever needed, I don't think being off feed would alter that!

That's what I figured, never had a female off feed for this long so I was a little surprised. Thanks!
