My next purchase?
I can't decide what I want to add next...
Currently I have a 1.0 Lesser, 0.1 Spider, and a 0.1 Normal. I am definitely shooting for a 0.1 Lesserbee from my spider/lesser next fall and maybe a 0.1 lesser from the lesser/normal pairing also next fall. I think I want to add some mojave, enchi, or cinnamon into my mix. What are some wicked combos out of those three that will compliment my three that I have? I'm looking for something probably under $1000 and male. I'm saving up now and hopefully will make the purchase in a year or so (I say this now...but we all know how quickly those plans can be sped up....).
Any pictures of morphs? I love me some pictures!

I would get a nice 2 or 3 gene male. As for what that male is, it's depends on what your tastes are. You could get something like a Sterling (super pastel cinny) and produce no normals, or get a lemon blast male and try for spinner blasts.

Ironically enough, my buddy has a pastel and a pewter that he wants to breed probably early spring. We've already talked about me getting a sterling male from him.

Your boy is BEAUTIFUL!
I might just do that. I like to start from the ground up. I know that people like to start off with 2 or 3 gene males, but I love genetics and I find it a million times more gratifying to produce my own 2 or 3 gene males from my basic stock! Obviously, if I were to get a lesserbee male, he would replace his father and I would sell him once the lesserbee is of breeding size. Then I can keep growing my collection until I eventually have a very nice collection going. Then again, that's just me.

Re: My next purchase?
deciding what you want can change a few times in the year that you will be saving up for something. I understand that with what you have now, you're trying to produce some females. I would also add a super pastel or pastel female as this is a must in any collection. and even a super pastel is price resonable for what she will add. you don't want you collection to be male heavy. it's nice to have a good collection of females, so when a new morph pops up in this hobby and the price is a lot more than what you would like to spend on a singe snake. it will make more sense to buy it if you have the females to support a high price purchase. you can breed one male to 5 females on average. hope this makes some sense to you.

It makes perfect sense. That's why I was thinking about keeping a lesser female and a lesserbee female...then I would have 4 females. I would get another male and sell my lesser male to give me a 1.4 ratio. I just can't decide what that male will be. I will probably throw in another female or two. I just like my collection to stay small. I'd rather have a 1.4 ratio with them all being 2 or 3 genes, understand? Being just a hobby breeder living in a small space, I just don't have space for hundreds of snakes. So each time I produce something better with the stock I do have, they will be replaced. Hopefully that makes a little sense.

Re: My next purchase?
black pastel would be a good choice to put in with a lesser. but i think it is all up to you produce a snake that you like with what you already have and a future addition without having to change your mind later on.
1.0 albino
0.1 black pastel 66% het. albino
1.0 cinny
