My pet store guy said if I keep all the females together they will steal each others babies. They sure look crowded in that tub.

They may steal each others babies. It depends on the individual. I've had females ferry babies back and forth between 2 different nests in the same enclosure. In the end, it always became 1 giant nest of babies and the mother's took turns feeding them.
And I've had females in the past shred pups because they were 'tug o war'ing on the babies.
If fighting gets bad, I separate each other in their own maternity tub.

What size tub are you using?

right now i have two litters that are two weeks apart and the moms "share" them. one minute one has them all and the next minute they are split up. it is kind of funny to see a mom with 5 babies a few days old and 5 that are a few weeks old. rats are really good moms. sharing the litters is nothing to worry about and actually is a good thing in case one mom is over whelmed the other will pick up the slack.
