    AG Select Watering System

Hey guys I have a quick question that should be summed up by one or 2 responses:

Does the Add-on kit with 6 valves have everything needed for a 6 level rat rack other than the bucket? Because I would rather get that and then buy the bucket separately. It's way cheaper. And I'm going to have a 6 level rat rack.

    Thanks in advance,
    SC

Actually it does not contain the tank connector and you can't do without it.

You can get everything for around $36.00 including the tank connector from here http://www.klubertanz.com/Catalog.htm

    Here is what you need

    (1) 3/16 Tank Connector With Strainer - $7.60
    (6) Vari-Flow 3/16 drinking valves - $19.08
    (6) Valve Clip - $2.64
    (5) 3/16 Barbed Tee - $2.30
    10 Feet of 3/16 Flex Tubing - $2.20
    (8) – 3/16 Loop Clamp with Screw - $2.24

Then go to home depot and by a bucket for less than $3.

So what size hole do I need to drill in the bucket to fit 3/16? Is it just a 3/16 drill bit? The picture looks like the ends are wider than the middle? This may be a dumb question, sorry.

    Thanks in advance,
    SC

One thing you forgot to add was a drain at the end of the line at the bottom. I will want to be able to easily drain the line if I have to. I'm assuming that's why you also said (5) T's instead of 6.

    Thanks,
    SC

You will need a 11/16 drill bit, the instruction will be included with the tank connector

I use 5 Tees for the first 5 tubs and the last one valve is connected at the end of the line, when I want to flush it I just disconnect the valve.

Touché lol. Well I cant wait to start building my rack and then this watering system. I'm trying to get all of these details figured out before I go head first into it all. I really appreciate yalls help, I'd be lost without y'all.

I bought all my rodent water system supplies from Rich at Reptile Basics: http://www.reptilebasics.com/rodent-watering/

Rich is also very helpful and can answer any questions you have about all the materials you'll need for your design: sales@reptilebasics.com
