Is that wood gonna hurt my ball?

I had a long post all typed out, I called a CL seller a crack head and everything! It didn't post, and now I'm too tired for shenanigans so I'm just going to skip to the question....

I have one of those wooden stick pile climby things in my enclosure. I know its legit, I've seen them at the pet store. Its not home-made or anything. But the Guy who sold it to my BF said that he isn't sure if he'd recommend using it because his BP got stuck in it and died.

Having heard of the interaction with this Guy, I suspect his snake may have died from poor care, not getting trapped in a fake brush pile.

Is there significant risk? The snake uses it, she's been on it everytime I've caught her out of the hide. But I'll remove it if the majority of experienced keepers think it's a bad idea. I just need to hear it from someone who isn't talking just to hear himself speak.

I would personally avoid anything that has closed holes. U shapes are fine they can't get stuck but a closed opening with something inflexible on all sides can cause a snake to get stuck. I don't know exactly what you are referring to but if it is the wood stick bridge things I think it would be ok although difficult to clean. Photos...

I can't upload a picture right now. There's a picture on my profile where you can kind of see it. In the picture, the snake is under it. It's free-form, there aren't any areas where the wood reconnects with itself to create a "hole", but there are areas where the "sticks" are screwed together to make narrow angles. Knowing that they can actually get stuck is enough. I'm going to take it out. I have other single pieces that are just mini-logs she can slither around on.

Keep an eye on anything wood to, it can grow mold in a humid environment.

If the narrow parts move easily the snake will move them aside if it gets too small. Of just lift the whole structure. If I understand what you are saying it has inverted V shapes? Maybe this is more clear?!
