Judge this pastel please.
I'm looking at a few snakes locally and found this pastel. Do you think it is a good example of one?

It's ok, but it looks like it will brown out. Try to find one with as little orange/brown as possible.

Maybe it's just me..but I don't like it It looks dirty, and like it will brown out before it even hits 1kg. I like my pastels bright yellow with very little spots / oranges. Hopefully some more experienced keepers will chime in for ya.

That's not the exact one I'm interested in, this is just one he has in his collection. I'm waiting on a photo from the guy because I would need a female. Im hoping it will be brighter. I'll post it when I get the photo.

Being honest: no thats one of the uglier pastels ive seen out there. Id pass and keep looking. That pastel is pet quality imo. I wouldnt breed it.

Thanks for the honesty. I am gonna keep looking. I'm just anxious/excited to get another ball. I need to be patient and wait it out. Gotta remember quality trumps quantity.

True. I have heard nothing but great things about demeyer. I'll look him up.

Yea exactly
Also i see youre in Florida. Check out Ben Siegel Reptiles. He has some awesome snakes too and you may be within driving distance of his shop/facility so you wouldnt have to pay shipping costs and could go checkout all the snakes in person. Im not positive but i believe he's in Deerfield Beach. Look him up too!
