Yup, I've been using this for over a decade. I've never had a dumped water bowl yet with this system.

Not to say that they couldn't be tipped over, but I've had good luck with them. They even come in a few different colors and are easy to clean.

Re: looking for new water bowls what are you guys using

I have about 100 or more of the 6" ceramic dog bowls... I have cleaned out 6 Dollar Tree locations around me.

They are foo foo, and have cutsie doggie designs on them, but they were a buck each, and my snakes never complain.

They had these a couple of years go, then didn't any longer. Each location in my area got new shipments recently so I ran around and cleaned them all out.

They are heavy, and only get knocked over every once in a great while, do not generate mold underneath, and are large enough to keep the humidity up.

    This http://www.lowes.com/pd_23284-1814-P...t=pvc+coupling

    and this http://superiorshippingsupplies.com/...d-100-ct-16-ea

    Cannot be tipped over

I stop using ceramic bowls as I somehow manage to break at least one every time I clean them.

For my hatchlings I use this http://www.petmountain.com/product/d...vy-weight.html (Midget size)

No I don't dispose of them weekly I wash them several times before disposing of them (Bleached them too), they are easy to carry easy to clean and can be used several time.

I put a new cup in while taking the other out to clean them and then back in service.

I just use cheap ceramic bowls, if the snake likes to knock it over I tape it to the side with a piece of duck tape (not the stinky one) I forgot the brand I have but it's like a mylar one that comes of clean and don't stink.

please avoid using any kind of adhesive inside your snake enclosures, especially duct tape. it poses a much bigger risk than you might realize and isn't very good advice.
