    snake escapes from plastic tubs?

so i've been a lurker here for around a year or so. never felt the need to sign up because i never needed to ask any questions and always found everything i needed to know. love the site. full of info. but now it's time for a question i couldn't seem to find an answer to. lol after keeping my new girl in a screen top cage for a couple weeks (it was free and all i had at the moment) and having to constantly battle with the humidity, i built her a tub and got the humidity and temp juuust right. she seems happier. lol right now she's in a 37qt sterilite tub with blue locking handles. i noticed today that its not hard for me to pull up an inch or so in the middle of the sides that the lock handles aren't on. she's still pretty little so it'll definitely be a while before she might be strong enough to push it up, but has anyone had escapes with these tubs? is it common? i don't wanna have to throw a heavy book or a dumbbell weight on it if i don't have to. just don't think it looks good. of course i will if i need to when she gets bigger, just didn't know if i needed to worry about it or not.

It is possible, and it does happen from time to time. I would use binder clips, or a luggage strap to secure the lid to the tub.

thank you. lol and i will for sure. between school full time and work full time i don't know how much i'll be able to post. definitely need to get some pics up. i picked up my little bumblebee girl from the daytona show last month. luckily for me, my dad and little brother are snake addicts too. they picked up 6 or 7 balls from daytona as well so i'll have to upload some pics of them too and show off our babies.
