    Feeding

Hey everyone, I was just wondering if anyone could give me some advice on what to do with my spider het albino female. I moved up to college and brought all my snakes with me and all of them are eating but her. It's been 5-6 weeks so not too long and i'm not really worried because she hasn't lost a significant amount of weight (20-30g tops) but I was wondering if you guys think I should keep trying to feed her F/T rats or should I go pick up a live feeder rat and see if she will eat it. I would like her to start eating again because I want her to get up to weight with my other females but she is still my biggest girl so I am not worried about her not making it by next season. Thanks everyone!

My set up is a CB-70 (7) rack and I keep the humidity from 55-70% depending on if I just got back from class or if I just misted and the warm side ranges form 88-92 depending on the tub and the cool side is 80-82 which is a little warm but we have had some warmer weather and it will cool down soon. I have 2 hides for each snake and they are on paper towels. (Provided this information so you can assess if my husbandry is a problem or not).

I wouldnt worry about it yet. How do you offer the rat?

I would try braining it and leaving it in there overnight to see if she eats it.

I wouldn't worry about it either. I'd probably wait two weeks before the next offering, and then leave overnight if she doesn't take it.

I have been leaving the food over night each time I offer, she has never taken it from my hand but she usually takes it over night.

What do you mean by braining it?
