    Caramel project

So I am thinking about starting a caramel project. Hopefully I'll be buying a female breed able caramel and mixing in with my black bee and breeding back. Does this sound like a good long term project? Has anyone done this here?

The only problem with Caramels is that the may kink. Now you could go with an Utlramel but they are still kinda expensive. But they look better than caramels and don't have any kinking to worry about.

Assuming you get a Black Bee het Caramel from the first breeding here is what the offspring would look like:

The only ones with pics are caramel albino and spider caramel albino. What would the other potentials be? And with kinks and duck billing besides the obvious deformities how does that affect them?

All the possible outcomes are there. For some morphs their pics don't show up on the wizard but they might be on the giant morph list. The kinking can impair breeding and overall function of the snake IF it is severe enough. The duck bill I believe will not interfere with anything, its just a looks thing.

Female carmel's have a tendency to throw unfertile eggs also. Check out this thread: http://www.reptileradio.net/reptiler...ghlight=carmel
With the money it would take for you to get a breedable female caramel you could definently get a female het ultramel and down the road pick up a morph het ultramel. I personal like the look of caramels more than ultramels its just too bad they have so many problems or i would already be working with one. I have contemplated just buying one for a pet there so beautiful!
