    Hatchlings and moving

So I have 2 clutches in the incubator. Clutch 1, day 54 is sept 30th. Clutch 2, day 54 is on oct 29th. I have to move and be out by the 31st of october. I have been incubating at 89.9 constantly. I had a slight problem with humidity on the first clutch but fixed that. If I cut the second clutch on day 52 should the be out of the egg by the time I move? I plan on moving them last of all my things. Also what will be the best way to move them?

but if you keep the incubator closed and plugged in and you move it last the temps should be maintained

True, but you're better off moving the egg box to a small cooler than try to move the incubator with them inside, if it's big. You would be taking a huge risk on dumping the whole box over if it has room to slide around inside the inc, or the inc has to be tilted to be moved (like a big freezer). A couple degrees drop shouldn't hurt the eggs at that point in development. I would deliberately NOT cut the last clutch, so they aren't forced out of the egg prematurely by the jostling around of moving.

My incubator is a wine fridge. Ive thought about making a styrophome incubator for the move. We havent found a house yet but it looks like itll be about 30-45 min away

That's not so far. Here is what I would do.

I'd get a cooler big enough to hold my egg boxes and a bunch of water bottles. Get the water running out of your faucet around 95 degrees. Fill up several water bottles and place them in the cooler. The water bottles will keep the temperature in the cooler much more stable. Pack your egg boxes in the cooler with crumpled paper so they don't shift during the move. Close the cooler and you should be good to go.

Since it seems like you have time I would test this at different water temps. Put a high/low thermometer in there to see how much it dips in an hour.
