6 new H. Maculatas!!!

On Sunday I ordered two Egyptian scorpions from Swift Inverts. However, me being the indecisive person that I am I changed my order to five H. Macs at ½ inch. I was very anxious and what made it even worse was the fact Monday was a holiday so I had to wait three days. Finally the mail man dropped them off at my job because that's where I wanted them sent to lol. I've always wanted some of these but never got any because of their teleport/aggressive reputation. Finally gave in years later and they sent me a freebie so I have six in all. They are doing well I keep them in little deli cups in a closet and check on them twice a day. I plan to breed these tarantulas to try out the project.

I love H. maculata, but they scare the jeebus out of me. Any OWT does for that matter. I've heard these guys pack quite a punch even for an OWT. Maybe someday I will man up and get one too.

these pics were taking with an OK camera phone I'll take better ones after they molt. as far as water goes can I just get a small spray bottle and mist one side of the deli cup that the spiders arent on? or should I mist it all except the spider its self?

3/6 of my baby tarantulas have shed their exo skeletons so far waiting for the rest to do so!
