What happened to that one in the first pic? the one in your hand? any recent pics of that one?
That one was hatched by my brother. I think he had a 6 or 7 egg clutch that year. The eggs started dying of one by one. The time 60 days came around, that little Mojave was the only one left.
He lived for a while, but was not right. He had to be helped with feeding and almost had a bad case of the Spider wobble. I asked many people about what could have happened and most say incubation extremes. He ended up dying about a year later.
I was hoping these came out super reduced, but they are not as reduced as the original baby. Although the Pastaves are reduced some.

I thought we stumbled onto something....turned out he just wasn't ready to come out.
