Question Pipped eggs on Day 59

It's now day 61 and the goo on the inside is turning cloudy and no heads have come out... I don't want to pester them...should I be worried?

    When did you cut them?
They should be out by now unless you miscalculated the temps you incubated them at.

Re: Pipped eggs on Day 59

I cut them on Friday. They've been at 88-90 degrees incubating and still are. Someone said 2-3 days and they should come out well its been two and no one has peeked out. The goo on the inside is turning cloudy and I wasn't sure if that was normal or not.

All mine are out by day 60 baking at 89 degrees.
Is there movement when you poke them?
One of mine turned a funky grey color just before it came out.

All are moving but one. Unfortunately I think I lost one of my supers. Now I just don't know what to do.

It can take a day or two after they pip on their own. If you cut they may need longer depending on how far along they were developmentally.

    Lol!!
Where did all this foolishness of "they'll come out after two days of cutting" come from? It's NOT true!!
If you incubate at 88 degrees, you're looking at 60+ days of incubation. If you cut too early, those babies will stay in the egg longer than if they pipped on their own.
Yes ANOTHER reason to leave the eggs alone and let them pip on their own.
I do hope everything works out for you.
