I dont think of SC as east coast. I think of it as south. Even though you guys have nice beaches lol. Idk, its a snobby nutmegger thing
It's NC get it right, lol. I'll meet you half way tomorrow 12 noon. You better be there or else.

If I'm driving that far I might as well just come to your house; I can see the snakes and the garden.

How tall are the metal cages youre providing them?
Tbh, we dont even cook with them much. Just eat them like apples. Except with salt of course lol.

Naw, this was a cold salad. But those are the big cages, like 4-5 feet. Dang things are as tall as me. We just don't get much sun here. There are maters there, just not getting ripe. Typical for here....

I love acorn squash just baked, but I also love baking butternut squash and then sauteing shallots, garlic and frsh ginger before putting it all into a blender with chicken broth to make butternut squash soup. Definitely my favorite soup recipe!

Try using shorter ones. Cut the ones you have down to 3feet. If you give the plant the oppurtunity to keep growing taller then it will. But if you keep the cages at only 3ft then the plant will reach that height and stop putting all its energy into growing taller and will put the energy towards bearing fruit.
