    Beginner shed question...

Ok baby Tiberius went blue today. I have a small question about this. Temp is 94.2 on the warm side and 81.2 on the cool. Humidity is at 67 but I just misted and it has be around 70 to 73 all day. Should I soak him in a warm bowl? If so when and how many times? I went to a buddy's house last might and his retic is having major shed issues I don't want this to happen to my little buddy. Thanks in advance for any and all help.

I believe soaking before a shed is not a good idea. From what I've read it can strip the natural oils from him. If your humidity is around 70-75 you should be good I would imagine. Soaking is only to help after they have a bad shed. There are a couple stickies at the top of the forum in general BP I believe that are all about shedding. Might help put your mind at ease good luck! Hope he sheds well!

Don't soak him! 70% should be fine for him to shed properly. Soaking does more harm than good when it comes to before a shed.

If he doesn't shed properly, then you can soak him. But not before!
