I'm so glad to hear that she is okay. I know you were very excited about finally starting to handle her and then this happened. Glad to hear everything worked out.

Just picked her up from the Vet, she seems great!! Worth every penny. She's gonna be on antibiotics for the next 2 weeks.

The doc explained that deep cuts with snakes can retain gas and become easily infected, but the cut is not that long or deep, so she was not concerned. I actually have the vet papers around here somewhere...
She was given Butophanol for pain and an antibiotic called Enrofloxacin. I have to go to the vet every other day for the next 2 weeks and get her injected with it too.
