Constipated Snake??
It's been two whole weeks since he's pooped (and he's been fed). Temperatures are maintaining at 85-90 (95-ish in the hot hide) during the day, and around 80 at night.
Someone mentioned to me a warm water bath soak?
Any other ideas or suggestions? And when is constipation a possible obstruction and an emergency?
Also, today is feeding day... should I feed him even though his last meals have not come out yet?
Thank you all for helping out a first time owner...

Re: Constipated Snake??
Feed him as usual. Don't bathe him. He knows how to poop, and it is very unlikely that he is constipated if he has a ready supply of fresh water and good humidity. One of the great things about snakes is they DON'T always poo as often as they eat.

Re: Constipated Snake??
I started a similar thread as I was worried too, but apparently they don't poop often like my corn snakes. A few people here told me that they often only poop after a shed. So I am sure your snake is fine
Feed him as normal

Re: Constipated Snake??
As mentioned by the last two posters, it is not that uncommon for them to take several weeks between poops. Most of my adult females poop on a monthly cycle rather than weekly, and they are totally fine.
Annarose had the best advice. "He knows how to poop" is a very succinct way of phrasing that. Also very accurate.
