    Double recessive projects

I'm wondering what type of methods people use for their double recessive projects? My plan is to breed the visual of the two different recessives and then breed the siblings together. Although, I'm not sure whether I want to hold on to a few females to increase my chances or just go with a single pair. Anyway, I'm wondering what other methods people have used or plan on using.

First I get this to happen:

Now, I've got a nice clutch with some extra males that I will sell off. All females will be kept and bred to the male and one back up male.

The other way, which is quicker is to buy a visual het recessive snake to increase the odds, but you still have to have the double hets (unless you are going to spend a lot of money).

I am breeding clown x orange ghost and clown x albino and Caramel x orange ghost. I will keep two males, one as a back up, and all female I produce.

So that is what I was thinking, but do you keep all of the females once they have produced the desired combo?

If you already have female double visuals then it's up to you on what you want to sell. I'd personally keep a few and sell the rest.

    Albino Pied project

This year I bred my Pied male to my albino female, I kept 1.2 and plan on breeding the DH Albino Pied to my Albino before pairing him to the DH females.

    Hypo Pied project

I took a short cut and bought a male Hypo het pied that I plan to breed to one of my het pied female this coming season, I plan on keeping any pied het hypo females if any and if there are males I plan on keeping one, I will also keep all Hypo PH Pied females with markers.

    Clown Pied project

In a year or two I plan on purchasing a pied het clown male and do the same as the project above.

Why breed the double het back to the albino? Then you just get albino possible het. I'd just breed dh to dh but I don't know I guess.

So I can keep any Albino PH Pied females, and keep any Het Albino PH pied females with markers.

I don't have any plan for this female Albino aside from the Albino Pied project anyway.

We started with a clown male and made a pair of yb het clowns that we held back and a black pastel het clown male
We are going to be breeding yb het clown X yb het clown this coming season and crossing fingers and toes for a yb clown or an Ivory clown.

We have a huge albino female and she bred black pastel het albino so we are hoping to hold back a 1.1 albino black pastel.

Next step yellowbelly or Ivory clown X black pastel albino for double co-dom double hets

We are also shooting for black pastel yb clowns this season with Brian of breaking balls(simple man on this forums) and will probably work black pastel clown into some hypo projects in the next couple of seasons.

Double hets are fun, double co-dom double hets is

I have an idea, more like a 6 year plan give or take a year LOL
Its a tripple recessive IF everything goes right.
I own two of the three needed.

Jerry, wanna loan me a clown??
