Humidity
I heard you need a BP's enclosure to have around 50%-60% humidity,I have a 36x18x18(i think its 18 on the last one),with a screen top.Any suggestions on the best humidity? My basking area is usually 88-90,and my cool area is 82-84. Just wanting suggestions on what the best humidity setup would be for my tank.

Re: Humidity
Normal humidity is around 50-60, you could always put a water bowl over the uth if you use one this helps create humidity, or put a damp towel on the top of thank covering half of it, or mist daily.
Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened.

Re: Humidity
Mist daily, but also consider adding damp moss to each side of the cage, in and around at least one hiding spot on each side. This allows the snake to choose when to get humid or not, and is a lot easier than trying to maintain a higher level of humidity throughout the cage.
The moss does dry out over time, so additional water needs to be added to the moss regularly.

Covering most of the lid will help hold in temps and humidity, in tanks I like to see people try humid hides before misting.
Misting makes the humidity level go up and down, up and down, not good imo...
As mentioned pushing the water bowl over the hot spot helps during shed periods...

I have 3 the same size enclosures for my biggest balls. my humidity floats around 50-60% with just my water dish and occasional misting, but that's with my climate in Michigan.
I tin foil the tops to help hold in humidity during shed cycles though, to keep the humidity above 70% At a local pet shop recently, I saw a 200-300g ball with bad stuck shed. They had a digital hygrometer in the tank and it read 45%. If they knew more about the pets the sell, it most likely would have had a good shed.

You can make one out of a non see-through tub of appropriate size for your snake. Line the bottom with damp sphagnum moss( at most pet stores) and cut a hole in the lid for your snake to enter.
