What to look for when buying a mojave?

We're planning on buying a mojave girl, but what are things we need to pursue on different mojos? We've seen really high contrast yellow looking ones, and ones that look more faded out. Is that all personal opinion or is there a big difference in the quality of her clutch?

I would say the ones with more yellow are definitely higher quality. Unless YOU like the darker ones. Even then, it may be harder to seel the faded out babies than it would be to sell the brighter ones.

It really depends on what you like, but I personally like extremes. The high yellows, extremely dark, high contrast, reduced pattern....

When I look at a Mojave, I want to see a really nice contrast between a clean looking brown and the yellows. Sometimes it is hard to judge a mojave when they are little as they change as they grow. Look at the parents, that will be a good indicator of what the babies will look like. Good luck!

Re: What to look for when buying a mojave?

This is my mojave girl at about 200g. I don't hold her out to be an excellent example of the morph, but I can tell you what I liked about her that made me choose her: contrasty back, flames, color fading down sides towards belly. I also saw her sire, and he was quite light, almost looked like a lesser. There's a lot of variety out there. Enjoy the search!
