    Pictures of your Ball Python?

I'm getting a ball python soon, but just hearing "Oh, they get this big" doesn't really give me a visual. Could you post some pictures of your ball python (any size) next to you or an item for a size reference, and list how much it weights, and how long it is? I would really appreciate it!

I'm just curious as to how large they actually look. I've held my friends 1 or 2 year old.

I have a few pics to share!

My bumblebee at about 6 months

My oldest female at 20 years, with a lighter for size comparison. She's about 3500 grams.

At a library presentation - even a "big" ball python really isn't that big. This is the same 3500 gram female.

    Hope that helps!

People think they're 'big huge snakes' because they have the word "Python" in their name. However, like many other python types, Balls do not get THAT big. As shown above (good pics there folks ) they are nice manageable sized animals. Even the 'monsters' are still only around 6 feet in length and about as large around as a softball or the like.

Here are a few pics of the biggest girl (females are usually larger than males) I ever owned - a sweet rescued normal I called Hera.

That is a regular sized pill bottle beside her for comparison. In the first pic, my partner/boyfriend is holding her.
