Wine Cooler Deconstruction question?
Now what all do I have to take out of this guy? Just picked it up today for next season

Don't cut anything out of the cooling system unless you have had it professionally drained, or you will be seriously violating EPA regulations, along with risking some yucky chemical burns.

Just remove all of the components without disconnecting any lines. I have taken freon to the face with no ill effects, when a machine malfunctioned at work. You will be fine..

I didnt take any of mine out. You dont need to. Only reduces weight. Just cut the cord. Wire in ur heat tape. Drill a hole in the top or aide for ur cords. Seal it up. And there yah go.

If you want to remove them with leaking as little freon as possible, you can use a set of linesmen and crimp the liquid and gas lines. Then, cut them in the crimp. You'll lose a minimal amount of freon and then you can just toss the unit. Do this at every cut you make.
