I'm back!
My name is Will, and I actually was part owner of this website when it started. My friend Peter and I started it. I've been really busy though, school first, now work... Just decided to rejoin. So glad to meet you all and look forward to being a part of this site. It's amazing to see how much it has grown since the beginning! I currently own two ball pythons, both about 12 years old. Peanut, my female, and Bubba, my male. Also I have two RTB's. One normal, unsure of the gender. Another is a male Salmon that I just got, from Prehistoric Pets in Cali, but I'm shipping him back tomorrow because he is not at all what was advertised. I decided to go with a gorgeous baby female hypo from Exotic Pets. Should have her within the next couple of weeks. Look for tons of pics, and lots of posts. I'm a reptile fanatic!

To be honest with you I can't even remember it has been so long. Early 2000's. And by the way, about that Salmon RTB, I went to pack him up and ship him back today. Just flat out couldn't do it. I get so attached to things. So, Rocky (as in, BalBOA) is staying with me. He may not be what I ordered, but he is still a beautiful snake and I think with some time I can get him to calm down. I just won't be letting anyone else handle him for a while. Anyway, thanks for welcoming me back!

If I remember correctly, the site opened up in August of 2003. It was just a few months old when I joined in January of '04.

Sounds about right, that's the year I got Peanut (my first BP)... so yep, 2003. It was designed by a friend of mine named Jeff Marjama, who owned leoland.net (he's a gecko freak, or was at the time). And we ran the forums. Never got close to this many members though, I think we had around 300 or so.

7 adult Royals (2.5), 1.0 COS Pastel, 1.0 Enchi, 1.1 Lesser platty Royal python, 1.1 Black pastel Royal python, 0.1 Blue eyed leucistic ( Super lesser), 0.1 Piebald Royal python, 1.0 Sinaloan milk snake 1.0 crested gecko and 1 bad case of ETS. no wife, no surprise.
