Where to move BP while house is being treated?

Next week we are having pest control do the bi-annual treatment of the interior of our home, for which all animals need to be removed.
I'm in TX and in the morning hours, in the shade, it's about 85-90 degrees. Am I safe to re-located Herman's (BP) enclosure outside for about four hours until we are able to come back inside? How long can a BP handle a cage without an 80 degree cool side?

I would take them to a friend's house or something. Too much risk. The heat can easily build up to well over the 85-90 inside your snakes tub very quickly.

I could do that... however I won't have an UTH in his cage or anything, so he could be on the cold side for 4 hours. Additionally, I will have just received him and I was trying to avoid moving him around as much as possible. I'd reschedule the bug treatment, but I'm in TX and we're overdue as it s.

You need to talk to your pest control tech, I did pest control work for over twenty yrs and treated several homes with reptiles in them, for most pest. Depending on what is target pest, your tech can probably work with you so you don't have to move them.

Thank you! We are targeting ticks (they are overwhelming after the mild winter we had) and thus far, we have not had any reason to think we need a 'massive' intervention.. so this seems like it might be the perfect option. Thanks!

I think you would be just fine here. A few hours without heat at room temp should be an issue. Think about when you go to a reptile expo or ship one. They go without perfect temps for longer than that. If it was exceptionally cold or for an extended period of time, then I would worry.
