1st Clutch Day 54. Substrateless risks?

Just wondering what the risks are for substrateless incubation. I've got my first clutch on a peice of light diffuser, the sharp edges make me nervous with the babies soft scales. Is it too soon to move them to a completely empty container?

I waited until day 56 to take the light diffusor out.
I cut on day 55 and one snake in particular was wanting to come out.
I would wait in your case, at the risk of moving them too much or letting them get too cold from messing with the egg box. Wait until one starts to pip, then remove it. Just my opinon though!

Once they pip just set the eggs up on damp paper towels and let them crawl out all on their own..

Same here, when one pips or we decide to cut, they go onto damp paper towels so there's no risks of babies hurting themselves.

Same as everyone else and has worked great so far with the couple clutches I've got.
