well look who learned how to burrow :)

Went to check on my new dumerils boa today, and my first thought was "OH MY GOD where did she go??" Haha just scared me because yesterday she was laying on top of her substrate and now she learned how to burrow. Hopefully this will help her feel more secure and she will eat for me tomorrow night!! Can you spot her?

Bottom left corner. Lol. You will eventually just learn to look for that little smiley face in the pattern on their head. She looks to be settling in nicely. Just wait till she's 700g and almost 3ft long and still trying to burrow and be sneaky. It's not as effective.

Mines too big to burrow, but he moves his hides around and peeks out from around his water bowl...

Mine will stay in the same spot for days at a time... this is how they hunt actually. They sit and wait for something to run by them, then they explode out of the substrate and get the food. very cool, but can be very messy (substrate goes everywhere)

She's not trying real hard right now, but a good 5 or 6 inches of her tail is burried. Lol. That's a 20L tank. I think she's about ready for a bigger enclosure.

EDIT: The dang picture turned sideways. :/ Oh well. You get the point.
