First BP finally arrived :)
I finally got my first BP today. I got her from M&S Reptilien at a friend's place (because delivery costs less in Germany) and have her set up in my DIY cage.
More info and some pics will follow soon when my Macbook is running again, but for now I've got a question.
She (named her Cassandra) has been going around in her cage for 2 hours now and I discovered something brownish with some yellow and colorless fluid in the substrate. Could that be poop or is it vomit? I talked to M&S before I bought her and they said she did eat on Saturday and she didn't look "stuffed" when I got her so I guess it's not vomit. I'm just a bit concerned because there's so much fluid.
Is it safe to let it in the cage until tomorrow as I don't want to disturb her and as I have to replace the substrate anyway.

It sounds like it's probably urates and urine. Urates resemble a chalky substance, or wet chalk when it's fresh. If you can, just spot clean it and she'll be fine. Congratulations and good luck with your new pet.

She is very pretty, congrats! I wouldnt worry about brown/yellow stuff, its probably just poo and urates.

Exactly!
Thanks for all the nice comments!
She's been sleeping in her hide on the warm side when I exchanged the substrate. Now she's looking around the cage again.

For those who care, I named her Evey instead.

I missed addressing the climbing. Bps are not climbers. She is just doing that because she is in a new environment and trying to figure it all out and settle in. I wouldn't bother with any sort of "climbing furniture". Typical behavior you can expect once she settles in, is to hide, and not even be seen.
