    Our first boa

I got my fiancé a baby Brazilian rainbow boa for an engagement present to go along with a necklace that I haven't decided on yet =P she held an adult a while back and it seems to be one of her favorite snakes next to our balls so I picked one up from LLL reptile today =D it's a cute little thing!

Curious little worm ;-P how I just hope she doesn't look behind the gopher snake tank till the 17th of next month.. (she won't, she isn't friends with the gopher snake =P)

Congrats! I can say from experience that a snake is a great engagement gift. I personally got a Borneo STP from my fiance... I couldnt be happier.

    Re: Our first boa

Your snake is more than likely the brother/sister to my BRB that I purchased from LLL Reptiles last week (lol)

They look identical in size and color, same time frame, etc.

What are you feeding yours? Mine is so long and slim (like yours) that I was afraid of giving it anything else but two pinkies.

He was giving my finger the 'I'm hungry, you look yummy' look when I was getting up his thermostat set up so even though I got him yesterday I ended up feeding him that night. He took a f/t fuzzy like a champ. I might have tried a hopper if I had one but the fuzzy was pretty close to the right size anyway. =P

Here's a video (they are the same video, just wanted to see if the one I uploaded to photobucket would work, the YouTube one is in hd =P)

I guess photobucket doesn't like video?

I didn't think the YouTube one would self imbed from just the link like that but it did so all is well.

I've been feeding mine pinkies, and yours was able to swallow that despite it being bigger than her body??

I guess I need to step it up.
