The non-het girl needs to eat already! She is a mouser ASF-er, but goes on huge fasts.. so trying to get a small mouse colony going for when she's off her fast. Apparently her mom was the same way.

I have 2 big males that were eating small live rats for the breeders but wont take anything but mice. I am probably going to have to start a small mouse colony. I am not having any luck with the rats though. I had 2 ladies in with the male for about 10 days until I could get my rack built and they havent gained any weight... I am gonna give it one more week and then try pairing again.... Sorry a little off topic!

I have no problem with off-topic here Just wanted to share photos. We started to get concerned about our albino boy because his girls for the season were all going one after the other, and not all at once... and he didn't want to eat even after removing him for a month. Finally started eating after breeding the last albino girl once, and he is hitting rats harder than ever, getting his weigh back fast.

You gonna share some pics of the girls he bred? I would love to see the results of those clutches when the time comes!

The albino or the cinnamon? I have photos of the albino's girlfriends somewhere, but there is nothing special about them externally anyway. It was a het (proved out for us) a poss het (all hets from that clutch) and the albino girl he bred belongs to a friend, and is no longer here. She just laid 8 eggs a couple days ago though
The cinnamon has been bred with a few normals, so we have a couple clutches in the incubator or about to be laid that could be cinnamon poss het pieds, lesser, or pinstripe.

Well I think everyone not just myself would love to see the results of your clutches that have yet to hatch. That never gets old. I really love lesser cinnies that would be sweet but cinna pins are cool too! Are you hopin for anything in particular from the cinnie clutches?

Anything he's been bred to so far has just been a normal, so it will only be more cinnies if he was successful with any of the girls. The other morph females are being saved for a couple other males that need to get a little older. Have a mystic X normal clutch in the incubator.. should be out at the end of the month, and we are crossing our fingers for a mystic male, to pair with our mojave girl. Current best prospect for the lesser girl is the enchi, but we have a couple other males we are trying to work a deal out on that may change those plans. If we don't get a mystic, thinking maybe to breed the clown to the mojave once she's ready, but nothing is set in stone.
