That happens all the time, no worries. My female spider gets them on her head all the time. I think it's just a small issue from shedding.

Yup. It will clear up when they shed. I have a mojo that gets them on his head off and on. No worries

Re: My BP's Scale Spot
Yep, just a little blemish from shedding, nothing major. It'll be gone after the next shed!

Mine tend to get darker the closer they are to shed, still....no worries I promise lol.

Its probably not too far off then. When you notice him getting close then bump up his humidity a little and don't handle him. A lot of time spots like that will show up with handling/rubbing or low humidity. One spot is just fine but if you get whole big patches of them than you know something needs tweaked.

Re: My BP's Scale Spot
He looks like he is going in to shed anyway, skin looks rough and dull

thank goodness for that then, lol, I just got done feeding and cleaning his cage, but not in that order... hm anyway I'll start upping his humidity as best as I can to the close optimal percentage.

well this is new, my BP bent the thawed and prepared mouse in half... so its in the fetal position and he's trying to eat it at the arc of the back on the mouse... should I help him straighten it before he swallows it or leave him be...?
