He's not the only one. There is a paradox spied out there who's head is normal on one side, spider on the other. Hence it has one normal eye and one spider eye. I believe he is a true chimera. He was two separate embryo's who fused into one snake.
It seems to happen with spieds. I've seen several that had to be seen to be believed.

Just for future reference, the iris is blue, and the pupil is red. Many get that mixed up though, not quite sure why.

Hey off topic somewhat because I dont really know anything about this morph and its eye stuff, are there any morphs that have eyes like the red pupil side as part of their morph?
I think I will post a new thread about it so I dont derail this to much more..

That's super neat! They remind me of the bi-colored eyes on the merle Australian shepherds.

At first I thought it was from the flash or something. That's pretty cool and probably pretty rare.

One eye lacks pigment, one does not. This is actually not too strange, if you consider how the piebald patterning works.
The pigment in the eye with the black pupil is strong enough to make it dark inside the eye, so the pupil appears black. In the other eye, there isn't enough pigment to block light passing through in areas it shouldn't, so light reflects back out off of the retina, and it looks red from the blood vessels in there.
I would be curious whether the snake is blind in that eye.
