Balls vs Corns

I understand corn genetics fairly well and realize that most morphs are recessive. I also know of their potentially huge clutch sizes. Their are no other corn breeder in my area and at least 2 ball breeders. I'm really not in it for the money though. And I do have a local place that I could sell the lower end morphs and normals of corns and the same place will also buy the normal balls and possibly male pastels. I would only have 1 or 2 clutches a year either way. My only thing with the balls is the morphs I want to produce are out of my reach at this time and I have to work my way to them. That's why I'm having such a difficult time deciding. It's either work hard, save up, work some more and hope I finally get the snake I want then work on corns. Or it's invest a couple hundred bucks in corns produce what I want in a few years, then work hard, save up, work some more and hope I get my dream snake. And in case your wondering what my dream snake is, (well there is a couple) super pastel butter super stripe, killer queen spin enchi, and killer clown g stripe. That's why is going to take A Lot of work to get what I want. With corns I just want a fire stripe.

I have both and truthfully corn morphs are not easy to breed. Like my friend she had a amel and a ghost. Well if they were BP's and you bread them you would expect the babies to be some amel/ghost hybrid morph.... Well with corns it doesnt really work like that. amel bread to a ghost gets normals het for 3 different morphs. Where as if you were to breed BP's the mother and father morphs mix. Of course thats not always the case but trust me I think you should go with bp's it will be much more rewarding.

Wouldnt these be recessive in BPs too? I know ghost would be so if you were to breed them to each other in BPs you would get the same results as in corns right? Double hets for amel/ghost?

Yes, you'd get double het sunglows.

Let's not forget, corns can double clutch in a single season as well should you choose to allow them.

Thanks I knew that. lol but I was asking reptiliachnids because he/she seemed a little confused but I could be wrong.
