black pastel question

im thinking of buying a black pastel soon but i saw an add about a black pastel having a very noticeable ringer. what does that mean? is it like the spider's wobble? do they tend to have genetic problems?

Ringers are not a genetic defect, they are associated with a snake potentially carting the Pied gene I believe. I'm not well versed in ringers but I know that it isn't anything bad.

oh ok thanks that clears things up for me. i just thought it was something like the spiders wobble that

ive seen some morphs with ringers bur not always meaning het for pied but if it says het pied with a ringer then yeah thats a greater chance of it proving out

I have produced ringers on yb's and black pastels, none of which carry the pied gene as far as I know.
