Handling them after they eat won't do anything, it won't hurt, kill or cause regurgitation.
They do generally prefer to be left alone after eating, they enjoy their hot spots and to relax after a meal, but the old school rumors of regurging and worse dying, are spread like butter on toast, fast and easy.
The above may be true if your snake is really calm and used to you. I have a new Biak GTP that I fed and then handled two days later, like recommended. The morning of day three I woke to find her regurgitated hopper. I'm gonna give her a break for a week then refeed and won't handle her for several days after. Hopefully this will not happen with her again.
I would leave your snake alone after feeding if it is young or new to you. Don't risk it!
