Kinda surprised to see that low of a price tag.

Anyhow, can't make any suggestions as to what to price them, but I personally would set a significantly higher price on females...and would actually prefer to keep them if at all possible, or at least raise them up a bit before selling.

Set the price on the high end. If they don't sell, lower it incrementally over a long period of time until they do. The pastel YB het albino is a great snake, so definitely don't undersell it--someone will eventually want it.

However, keep in mind that there's a bit of a 'cash dam' going on right now...people want stuff, but don't have the money for it yet. Once the dam breaks, I think sales will shoot up rapidly.

I was as well, that is why it stuck in my head. I thought about picking it up.

As I said, I did have a price in mind but I still wanted to post a thread to see what other people thought. Setting a price is useless if no one else thinks thats what theyre worth!

    Hoping he went fast

I was leaning towards a much higher pricetag with the females too, thats one reason I was so surprised the first few people who were responding thought the males would be higher...

...and yes, I seriously doubt all of the females will be leaving.

This logic is why males should (and usually are) cheaper than females. You have to have a male and female to produce, either way double codom to normal or codom to codom will take the same amount of time. One male can breed multiple females. Supply and demand would mean females are in higher demand since you need more of them. And supply would be the same since theoretically you should produce the same amount of males and females.
Females=higher price unless you have $20k+ to drop on a new morph.

That sounds about right to me. YB's are cheap...and Albino's have been around forever and are fairly cheap. I would basically go with whatever the base morph sells for, plus a hundred bucks or so for the het part...

Yep. I have a male available for much less than $200. Genetics and difficulty of production are a big factor. Het albino males are anywhere from free-$50. YB males $25-75. I think breeders involved in this project are looking at the big picture of the albino ivory.

Might have been yours that I saw then. He is a good looking little guy too, with a neat, busy pattern.

After some time, you'll be able to get a semi accurate answer to yoru question at www.snakemarket.com - It's a database that is collecting ads for balls and offering up a list with prices that were in the ad.

A YB Het pied was listed at $850 recently....I would think it should come in slightly less than that, with the Patel/YB het at a hundred or two more.
