When i left a bad egg in it was touching good eggs and they never got mold on them. If there is mold on them keep a close eye on them and maybe get some foot powder on them. As for the small eggs, the size doesn't matter, they won't get bigger than the egg. I had a church of four last year that all hatched out between 40 and 45 grams.

Even normal sized eggs, when the baby hatches you will wonder how it fit in that little egg.

    They'll be fine.

Would q-tips work just as good?

Ok, something that some people do if they get mold on the eggs is to put a little Athlete's foot powder on them.

I did that for my clutch last year, but I used the dry powder spray on a cotton ball and then wiped the mold off.

Last year, when my first ever clutch was laid, I was a nervous wreck. Then when they started actually pipping, I almost gave myself a nervous breakdown. However, I survived as did the babies.
