    Black pastel on eggs...

    This girl was bred to our albino spider, hoping to get a male black bee het albino out of this clutch. Don't think an albino black bee will look much different than an albino spider, but it'd make for a great breeder!

    Congrats! I just go a clutch from my Albino x Black Pastel het Albino last Sunday. Working towards the same as you as I have a Female Spider het Albino that will be good to go by next year. Best of luck!!!

    That's what I thought originally, but keep seeing black bees that are really tough to tell apart from a plain spider. Seems to be a little more of a pattern change rather than color. I figure even if it doesn't look that great as a combo, just being able to produce both albino spiders and albino black pastels with one male is worth it!
