You are right, that picture is not very good. As for the Pastel, I say "meh", looks small to be that brown.

I like the blushing. I'd check him or her over real good to make sure you/your coworker don't see mites: soaking can be a sign of those (but some just like to soak I hear: none of my balls do though).

Hes got some nice blushing but is kinda browned out.
I would be leery of hime though since he is chilling in his water bowl which can be a sign of mites

EDIT: basically what daybreaker said lmao...^

They look like little black spots... Maybe someone has a picture they can post.

Yeah I already warned him about it. I really don't want to deal with mites so he's on his own haha haven't had them for like 10 years, they came for free with a rat snake haha! Gotta love unwanted bonuses....

They look like black poppy seeds and are about the same size. Juvenile mites are much smaller and more brown in color. Mites like to hang out in the nook and cranny areas such as eye corners, under the jaw, under scales, and in heat pits. But they can be found crawling anywhere.

You can definitely feel them when running your hand down the length of a snake. Just feels like dirt rolling between.
And they burst like fleas when you pop them.
