Happy- she's using both hides!

I wont get into all the details. but happy to see Medusa using both her hides in a normal way. I put on a warmer light this a.m.- on her warm side, because it was very chilly in the house this a.m. But apparently she was just fine, because later I went back to check the temps and she had moved to the cool side.
This is the first time she has acted like a "normal snake", using both hides

I was so excited, I exclaimed "Good job Medusa!"- thats the best part, the kids LOVE when I talk to her like she's a little kitten. LOL

LOL and her using both of her hides is also important for her well being too! If she is too hot, she can go to the cool side while STILL feeling secure in her hide. Security, and the ability to regulate their body temp while still feeling secure, will make for a happy (and usually good eating ) snake.
