    Sneezing

I picked up a few rats from a breeder last weekend, and while one is going to be fed off, a male that I wanted to breed is sneezing off and on. It's not just a sniffle, its a full sneeze. I looked him over and there's no eye or nose discharge, his fur is good, rear end good, and he's eating and drinking fine. I put vitamin drops in all my feeder/breeder water bottles... Is there anything else I can do? Currently he's in a tub alone but still in the same room.

    Patience

Considering you acquired him recently and assuming your setup for him is adequate, I would leave him simply with food, shelter and water for a week and take stock later. If his condition does not improve in a week, then measures may need to be taken but since he's a new acquisition I would allow him an adjustment period before any judgments are made

First of all, All new breeders should be quarantined. :/ just like how you would with a snake.

Does his breathing sound difficult or is he wheezing? If so, could be mycoplasmia which is basically an ri.

All my new ones are in separate tubs but I don't have the house space for a separate room. His breathing is fine normally, just occasional sneezing.
