    Tank to upright terrarium mod?

I'm looking for some threads that described how to take a fish tank, stand it on it's end, and create a door for it, making it into an upright terrarium style cage. I'm using this to make a home for my knight anoles.

    Thanks!

There is a thread on here called aquarium solution that you might want to take a look at. you might have to make a couple mods for it to be upright instead of on its side but should work.

We used an upright aquarium for our Mountain Horned Dragons when we had them and just put a cut to fit tub in the bottom for substrate and used the original locking screen "lid" as a sliding door.

You can get a vert conversion kit made by Junglebox

Believe me... It is going to be a lot easier than going to get glass cut, finding out they cut it wrong, installing the screen, and ordering the piano hinge.

We do this with dart frogs all the time.

I don't know the specific humidity requirements for Knight Anoles, but if they need to be misted often, you may want to put in a false bottom so the substrate does not get swampy.
